A chain is a study in continuity. Each link is formed, closed and joined by hand to the one before it, so that the finished piece is less an object than a sequence: a line drawn in metal, one gesture at a time.
It is among the oldest forms in jewellery. From the goldsmiths of antiquity to the workshops of Renaissance Florence, chains were made to honour, to bind and to endure, and their patterns passed from hand to hand, link by link, as a craft passes through generations.
