Our Bespoke Service happens here, right in our studio in Chiswick, west London. We'd be delighted to help you get the piece you've dreamed of using our Bespoke Service.

Ana works closely with our clients to help them express their ideas and put them into jewellery designs to make your wonderful pieces.

Here are some of the ways we can help you:

Customising an Ana Verdun design

Any of our pieces can be customised to your preference, using your chosen gemstone, preferred metal and any other alterations, for example, your preferred chain, clasp or added detail. We’ll be happy to show you the existing collections and discuss any changes you’d like to make.

Once you’ve decided how you’d like to customise the piece(s), we will quote you for the changes requested.

Bespoke commissions

If you have something unique in mind, based on an idea you already have, or to explore ideas that are personal to you and your own narrative, we would invite you to visit Ana at our studio in Chiswick, west London.

Bespoke commissions are a way to fully engage in the creative process and experience the magic of watching your ideas come to life in a beautiful piece of jewellery.

Please note that due to the full attention and time involved, Ana cannot take on commissions for less than £1200.

Remodelling unused heirlooms or using existing stones

Perhaps you have valuable pieces of jewellery that have been handed down and have sentimental value, but you just wouldn’t ever wear. We’d be happy to help you give them a new lease of life by remodelling them into something you’ll continue to treasure and will also want to wear all the time. Perhaps there are precious stones you’d like to use, or it’s the gold itself you’d like to reshape into a new piece.

We are also happy to discuss these projects over the phone or using a WhatsApp or Zoom video consultation, after which you can safely post your jewellery to us to work on.

We have insurance to cover your jewels while they’re in our possession. If possible, please have your stone or piece appraised before leaving it with us. This way we can ensure that our insurance covers it at its accurate value.

Commissioning a piece remotely

Turnaround times for customised or bespoke jewellery Customised pieces normally take 4-6 weeks to make, depending on the additional work involved. Bespoke commissions usually take 6 weeks from start to finish, and if there are any changes to this, we will of course keep you updated.

Payment Terms

For all bespoke commissions, customised and remodelling projects, we require a 50% deposit when placing your order. This represents a commitment to purchase and no cancellations are possible. The remaining amount must be paid in full before the piece is collected or despatched. Goods remain the property of Ana Verdun London until paid for in full. Mesmerising opals and diamonds

Fiona had some family heirlooms including a ring with a stunning opal and diamonds, and she wanted a pendant and a pair of earrings to match.

I had lots of fun and learned plenty about opals while sourcing them - these were the closet match to her own opal.

Aren’t they magical? The way they change in colour is always mesmerising.

Here is the magnificent pendant for Fiona. It was a wonderful bespoke piece made using my her own opals and diamonds. The large opal was from a ring and the diamonds from another ring.

Sarah already had a pretty amazing collection of pieces that her husband Joe had bought for her over the years.

Diamond rings, earrings with rubies, earrings with tourmalines, a stunning blue sapphire – all enchanting stones but all made into very traditional, dainty jewellery that Sarah simply never wore.

Would Ana, Sarah wondered, be able to use some of these fabulous gemstones of hers to create something totally unique and exceptional?

Sarah already liked one of Ana's necklace designs and, using this as inspiration, Ana set to work adapting it to incorporate Sarah’s stones.

The captivating heart-shaped blue sapphire could almost steal the show single-handedly, and embellished with 14 diamonds, it would be a worthy pendant by itself.

The many lustrous rubies could decorate the central golden circle, and the green tourmalines would guard the angelic pink sapphire in the centre of the cross.

After approving the design and waiting in excited anticipation, the final pendant on a long gold chain was everything Sarah could have hoped for. Coupled with a new ring based on Ana’s Sabine design, Sarah can now enjoy wearing all of her treasured jewels!
