High Silver
High Silver is a study in balance: between light and reflection, warmth and coolness, the lunar and the solar.
Silver has long belonged to the moon, carrying a quiet, receptive luminosity. Gold belongs to the sun, a light that moves outward. To the alchemists they were never opposites but counterparts, each completing the other. The collection is built on that dialogue.
Sterling silver and 18ct solid gold are brought together by hand in our London workshop, with 22ct gold vermeil introduced on selected pieces for added warmth. Neither metal leads. Each is placed where its character speaks most clearly, so that silver is never simply a setting for gold, nor gold an ornament on silver.
As in all our work, the metals are a medium rather than a measure. What defines each piece is the hand, the eye and the time behind it.
