Goldsmiths' Fair - the destination for discerning enthusiasts and collectors
Launched in 1983 by the Goldsmiths' Company, one of London’s oldest livery companies, Goldsmiths' Fair was created to showcase the best of contemporary British jewellery and silversmithing. It quickly became the place to discover new talent and collectible design.
It’s a juried event, which means every exhibitor is specially selected, with only a handful of new additions each year, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and originality. Over the years, the Fair has been a launchpad for many now-renowned jewellers and silversmiths.
Today, Goldsmiths' Fair is as much a destination for collectors, curators, and style lovers as it is a celebration of making – combining centuries of tradition with cutting-edge design.

Venue
Tucked away in the heart of the City of London stands Goldsmiths’ Hall, the grand home of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths since 1339. This magnificent building has been rebuilt and reimagined across centuries, surviving fire and war, while remaining at the heart of British craftsmanship.
Today’s Hall, completed in 1835, is a masterpiece of Regency architecture and a living hub for the UK’s gold and silversmithing community. It’s also the working base for London Assay Office, where precious metals are tested and hallmarked — a tradition dating back over 700 years.
Usually closed to the public, Goldsmiths’ Hall opens its doors for special exhibitions such as Goldsmiths' Fair, giving visitors a rare glimpse into the heritage and artistry that define our craft.
It's an extraordinary event, and you won't want to miss it.
